New Delhi: Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav said that his party will continue to support the Congress in order to defeat communal forces. In an interview to IBN7, he said there is no point in withdrawing support now as Union elections are coming in 2014.
"We support Congress to stop communal forces. What's the use now to withdraw support? Now the elections are coming after two years. we won't withdraw support till 2014," he said.
When asked if they will take Congress's support to form a government in UP, he said, "We are contesting the elections on our own. Our effort is that to get a full majority."
