New Delhi: In a major setback to the party, Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee Chief (DPCC) Arvinder Singh Lovely has decided not to contest 2015 Assembly elections. Lovely's decision comes after Ajay Maken was appointed the head of the Campaign Committee for Delhi Assembly elections.

Congress said that his replacement will be announced on Monday. He was earlier slotted to contest from Gandhi Nagar.

Maken, a former Union Minister and AICC General Secretary and party's Communication Department Chairman, is the face of the party for Delhi this time and is the Campaign Committee Chairman of Congress for the Assembly polls.
