Saran: Supporters of Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad's wife Rabri Devi on Sunday clashed with Saran district officials as they tried to search her car. 
 
The incident took place when Rabri Devi was conducting the road show without the permission of the district officials. 
 
RJD workers broke the camera of the administration officials who were recording the search operation. 
 
Both the parties have lodged FIRs. 
 
Lalu said the campaign was not conducted without permission. He said, "A female candidate must be checked in the presence of a magistrate or any other concerned authority. This was done intentionally. Neither Rabri nor I have ever campaigned without permission." 
 
Rabri is contesting the Saran Lok Sabha seat which will go to polls on May 7.
