Congress leader Raj Babbar has expressed regret over his Rs 12 comment, saying that he was only referring to the Below Poverty Line families. He had earlier claimed that it was easy to get a full meal for Rs 12 even in Mumbai. The Congress says that since he has apologised, the controversy must end. "Mr Raj Babbar has apologised for his remarks. I think the matter should be closed now. I do not know about Rasheed Masood but Mr Raj Babbar has issued an apology and we should close the matter," Congress spokesperson Renuka Chowdhary said.
