After AGM-88 HARM, Ukrainian Aircraft To Rain Fire On Russian Troops With US-Supplied Zuni Rockets

The United States has provided Ukraine with military aid that includes several notable firsts, such as 50 M2-A2 Bradley fighting vehicles. In addition, Washington appears to be addressing the shortage of air defense systems that Ukraine has long reported. However, it is uncertain how the Zuni missiles will be used or modified for use with Ukraine's Soviet-era aircraft. These 127mm Zuni air rockets, classified as "air-to-air," are similar to the Soviet S-13 or S-25 rockets. Some experts suggest that Ukraine may also be able to mount the Zuni rockets on its Mi helicopters. If Ukraine decides to utilize the Zuni rocket on its MiG-29 jets, it will need the LAU-10 rocket pod.
