First Full Test Of AGM-183A ARRW Missile | US Inching Closer To China & Russia In Hypersonic Race?

The US Air Force has carried out the first successful test of its complete air-launched hypersonic missile. The full prototype of the ARRW was launched from a B-52 off the coast of California. It was the third of a series of successful tests for the program in 2022 after setbacks owing to test failures in 2021. The ARRW is a boost-glide missile that uses a booster rocket to accelerate a projectile to hypersonic speeds. US Air Force has been moving in a direction that would support a potential early operational fielding of the ARRW by next year.
