Russia Launches 78 Missiles, Ukraine Hits 4 Russian Positions In East, US Sends More HIMARS Missiles

The death toll due to Russian missile strikes in Ukraine has risen to 10, Ukraine’s interior ministry confirmed. Ukrainian Interior Minister Denys Monastyrskyi said Russia has launched almost 600 missile strikes since October 10. Authorities confirmed that Russia launched 67 Kh-101/555 and Kalibr cruise missiles on targets across Ukraine. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said that 70% of the capital city remains without power supply following the Nov. 23 attack. Ukraine’s military said that it shot down 22 Russian missiles on November 23. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told the UN Security Council that Russian air strikes were an "obvious crime against humanity". Meanwhile, US officials believe that Russia may use chemical weapons in Ukraine if it continues to lose occupied areas. UN nuclear watchdog, IAEA, said the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Plant lost access to external electricity again on November 23. US think tank Institute for the Study of War said that Russian politicians were promoting genocidal rhetoric against Ukraine.
