Russia Shows Mobilised Soldiers Using 'Hyacinth' Artillery Field Gun

Russia said that these images show some of its mobilised soldiers using a 'Hyacinth' artillery field gun on the battlefields of Ukraine after completing training.The footage purports to show the mobilised Russian soldiers operating the camouflaged field gun, repeatedly firing shells at unseen targets.The images were obtained from the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) on Monday, December 5, along with a statement claiming: 'In the course of the special military operation, the mobilised servicemen, who completed the training course and went through combat coordination, successfully operate as part of the crews of the 152-mm 'Hyacinth-B' towed guns.'Russian gunners at distances of several tens of kilometres deliver fire strikes on identified batteries, ammunition depots, fortified strongholds and pillboxes of the enemy.'To destroy concrete shelters, 152-mm high-explosive shells are used. Control of target destruction and fire adjustment is carried out with the help of unmanned aerial vehicles.'The 2A36 Giatsint-B ('Hyacinth') is a Soviet-era towed 152 mm artillery field gun which was first used in 1975.
