The US is reportedly planning to send ‘smart bomb’ kits to Ukraine, according to the Washington Post. The advanced electronic equipment reportedly converts unguided aerial munitions into ‘smart bombs.’ The smart bombs can target Russian military positions with a high degree of accuracy, according to senior US officials. These new generations of smart bomb, called Joint Direct Attack Munition or JDAM, can be launched from a fighter or bomber aircraft. A delivery of JDAMs would mark another significant step by Washington to help Ukraine repel the invading Russian forces.
